Dawson, GA –Albert Wiley, 87, of Dawson, died on June 3, 2019 at his residence. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Harvey Funeral Chapel with Rev. Allen Carmichael officiating. Mr. Wiley was born on January 7, 1932 in Clay County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Jim Wright Wiley and Ethel Goocher Wiley. He seved in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. His first wife was Jackie Bailey Wiley who passed away, and he later married the late Laura Ella Fincher Wiley of Dawson He was a resident of Dawson for the past 58 years and a retired insurance agent with Gulf Life Insurance Company. He was a member of the Dawson United Methodist Church, Veteran’s of Foreign Wars and the National Rifle Association. Survivors include three sons, Steve Wiley (Marilyn) and Mike Wiley (Debbie), both of Dawson; Wendell Driver (Dawn) of Canton, GA; four daughters, Gina O’Hearn (Jeff), Joy Spilman (Mike) both of Dawson, Becky Queen (Dennis) of Douglasville, and Dewanna Driver of Fernidina Beach, Florida; ten grandchildren, Ashley Lee, Courtney Grebel, Brittney Smith, Taylor O’Hearn, Adam O’Hearn, Mark Driver, Jennifer Mashburn, Lynn Whatley, Leah Mathis and Brandon Brown; and 11 great-grandchildren.
