Obituary of William Marmalich William “Bill” Marmalich, age 91, of South Beaver Township, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Paramount Senior Living at Cranberry. Born November 24, 1927 in Huntingdon, PA, he was the son of the late Anthony L. and Anna C. (Capets) Marmalich and husband of the late, Lora (Mountain) Marmalich, to whom he was married for 65 years. He was a farmer and had worked for Rheem, Armstrong, and Johns Manville of Zelienople. Bill loved learning and was an avid reader. He attended Geneva College and studied history but he was very knowledgeable of nutrition and naturopathic healing. His great love of God’s creation and the land was reflected in making the farm a refuge to many dogs and cats…birds and deer. “The bond with a dog is as lasting as the ties of this earth can ever be” Lorenz Surviving are six children; Cynthia Ramsey, Fay Vietmeier, Tom Marmalich, Lora Kost, Tony Marmalich and Dale Marmalich, 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, a brother; Jim Marmalich of Punxatawney, PA, two sisters; Helen “JoJo” Wiemart of Roaring Springs, PA and Louise Riley of Tyrone, PA, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Family and Friends will be received on Friday, May 3, 2019 from 6-8 PM in Campbell’s Chippewa Funeral Home, 2618 Darlington Road, Chippewa Twp., PA 15010 where funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 10:00 AM with Reverend Robert Saul officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Chippewa Township. Memorial contributions may be made, if desired, to Angels For Animals, 4750 West South Range Road, Canfield, OH 44406.
