Kristina Marie Russum 1957 2019

Obituary of Kristina Marie Russum Kristina Marie Russmun, September 30th, 1957 – May 10th, 2019. Kristina was born to Walter and Barbara Begher in Honolulu while her father served in the military. From there, her family moved to Astoria, OR where she was raised. Throughout school, Kristina spent her summers with her grandmother who was one of her favorite and closest friends. After graduating from Astoria High School, Kristina went on to work for Oakies grocer as their bookkeeper in Ocean Park. Ocean Park was home to Kristina and her husband Richard before recently moving to Ilwaco, WA. While she was very close with her friends from work, Kristina was more of a homebody – loving spending time with her only child, Shannon, the light of her life – her grandson Vallen, as well as her loving husband Richard. For fun, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, camping, but most of all, she loved to fish for sturgeon and go shrimping. Preceded in death by her grandmother and parents; Kristina leaves behind her husband Richard Russum, daughter Shannon Vertefeuille and grandson Vallen, as well as two brothers, Paul and Erick Begher, and only sister, Stacy Womack. Arrangements held with Brown’s Funeral Home 360-834-3692.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Kristina Marie Russum 1957 2019.
