Joyce’s Obituary Joyce Andersen Hatfield of La Porte, Texas, a loving wife and mother passed away on May 24th 2019. Joyce loved to travel, country music and spending time with her family and friends. She was a big fan of the Hometown Opry. She enjoyed Primetimers and the Sunshiners organizations. Joyce was a member, in good standing, of the Onalaska Lions Club, where she held many positions including president. She made contributions to several different organizations. She knew the words and artist name, to a variety of songs, country, rock etc. and enjoyed singing along. She is preceded in death by, her father Carl E. Andersen, her mother Anne Andersen (Brooks) and her brother Carl N. Andersen. She leaves behind, her husband, Sammy “Sam” Hatfield of La Porte, Texas, her brother Tom Andersen and wife Sallie, Sister in Law Becky Grice, daughter Debra Grimes, son Eddie Sheppard and wife Carla, son Troy Sheppard and wife Shelli. Step sons Carey Hatfield and wife Tawna, Brady Hatfield and wife Sharon, Alan Hatfield and wife Tammy and Darrell Hatfield and wife Christine. She has many grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Also Aunt too many nieces and nephews. The family will have a memorial service on June 8th, 2019 at 1:00 pm, this will be held in the chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors with Alan Hatfield officiating.
