Obituary of Ernest W. Leskovec WILSONVILLE , OR -LITTLE FALLS – Ernest William Leskovec, 88, of Wilsonville , OR , formerly of Little Falls, passed away on May 1, 2019, at Daniel’s Adult Care in Lake Oswego , OR . Ernie was born in Little Falls, NY, son of Frank and Elizabeth Turk Leskovec. He was a graduate of Little Falls High School in 1950 and of St. Lawrence University in 1954. Following a year of law school in Chicago , he served in the US Navy and Naval Reserves. Ernie began his career with General Electric in 1960, skilled in employee relations and Human Resources. He was rotated through plants in multiple states, including at Daytona Beach , FL , where he met Jennifer, his wife of 54 years. His last location was Raleigh , NC at the Research Triangle. He retired in 1995. In 2013, Ernie and Jennifer moved to Wilsonville , Oregon , to be closer to family. Ernie enjoyed gardening, cooking and traveling, but best of all, being with his family. He will be greatly missed. Ernie is survived by his wife, Jennifer; daughter, Nicole Mayer; son-in-law, Mike; grandchildren, Isley and Porter; sister-in-law, Alice Leskovec; and a niece and nephew. He was predeceased by his brother, Frank Leskovec. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Local arrangements have been entrusted to the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street , Little Falls, NY, Harry J. & Kevin E. Enea and Martin L. Ciaccia, Funeral Directors (315) 823-2424.
