Elaine Marie Cunningham Es Junction, VT Elaine Marie Cunningham, 63, of Es Junction, passed away May 25, 2019, after a long illness. She was born in Portland, Maine, February 13, 1956 to Richard and Clover (Morse) Meserve. Elaine attended Portland schools, graduating from Portland High School in 1974. On March 12, 1988 she married the love of her life, James R. Cunningham. They were married for 31 years and made many happy memories together. Elaine worked for Western Tidewater CSB from 1994 to 2002 and for Es High School from 2002 to 2010. Elaine enjoyed reading and traveling with her family especially trips to Italy, Greece and Germany. She had two grandchildren whom she adored. Elaine was a very generous and kind person. She had a passion for helping people, always putting others needs before her own. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, James; son Daniel Lynch and his wife Jackie; son Tyler Cunningham; brothers Richard Meserve and Wayne Meserve; grandson Brandon Lynch; and granddaughter Katelyn Lynch. Elaine was predeceased by her parents. Visiting hours will be Friday, May 31, 2019 between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm at Corbin and Palmer Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant Street, Es Junction. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Elaine’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association of Vermont, 300 Cornerstone Drive, Williston, VT 05495.
