Ardis M. Henning, age 78, of Montello, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah, WI. She was born on July 27, 1940, in the township of Mecan in Marquette County, WI, a daughter of Julius and Alma (Seidlitz) Lange. After graduating from high school, Ardis worked for Del Monte Foods in Markesan and later for the A.C. Nielsen Company in Milwaukee. On December 3, 1960, Ardis married Kenneth D. Henning in Waukegan, IL. Ardis was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Montello and enjoyed gardening. Ardis is survived by her daughter, Linda (Timothy) Vandehei of Jefferson, WI; sister-in-law, Lorraine Lange of Fredonia, WI; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Alma Lange; husband, Kenneth D. Henning; daughter, Katherine; 2 brothers, Arden and Albert; 3 sisters, Bernice, Adeline and Mildred. A memorial service for Ardis M. Henning will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m., at Emmanuel Lutheran Church (Big Mecan), W1568 Evergreen Ave., of Montello. Pastor Peter Zietlow will officiate. Ardis will be laid to rest following the service in Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
