Obituary for Effie Linville (Adams) Effie Adams Linville age 88, wife of the late Elmer Lewis Linville passed away Friday May 10, 2019 at the Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Berea. Effie was a city girl who was transformed into a country farm girl after marriage to her husband Elmer Lewis Linville. She worked on the farm, cooked for the hired farm hands, and raised four children. She developed a lot of friends throughout her life. In her later years of life, she had a list of friends that she called every day to check on their well-being. She was a member of the Liberty Avenue Baptist Church, and was a house keeper at Berea Hospital for many years. Effie is survived by her children: Daughter – Kathy (Jimmy) Dean, Grandsons – Jared (Becky) Dean, Great Grandchildren Zachary James Dean; Emily Grace Dean, Grandson – Jeff (Alicia) Dean, Great Grandchildren Alexis K. Dean: Allison K. Dean. Son – Randy (Joan) Linville, Granddaughter – Brandi Linville , Great Grandchildren – Kaylee Combs, Grandson – Kristopher (Amanda) Linville, Great Granddaughter – Olivia Linville, Great Grandson – Karter Keith Linville Son – Rodger (Phyllis) Linville, Granddaughter Katie Linville Meece (David), Grandson Josh Linville Son – Robert L. (Alice) Linville, Granddaughter – Renee Linville, Great grandsons – Kole Linville, Quinton Bryar Keith Sears, Riley Dillion, Granddaughter – Robin (Justin) Thomas, Great Grandson – Braden Arron Thomas, Great Granddaughter – Hadley Thomas, Great Grandson – Nathan Robert Thomas, Granddaughter – Rebecca (Andy) Linville, Great Grandsons – Colin Linville, Rowan Moss Linville Niece – Carol Leming (Earl) Seals, Great nephew – Joey Seals, and Great-grand nieces Biancha and Madison Seals, Great nephew Shane Seals, Great Grand Nephew – Luke Seals, Nephew – Thomas Adams, Niece – Lisa Adams (Henry) Cooney, and great-niece Tammy (Tony) Willis. Effie was preceded in death by: Her Husband – Elmer Lewis Linville, Parents – Larkin and Sallee Adams, Younger Brother – Raymond Adams, Older Brother – Leemon Adams, his wife Bernice, son – Jerry Adams, Older Sister – Evelyn Leming, niece – Joanne Leming Whittemore, great nephew – Donnie Whittemore, great-niece Rochelle Seals. Funeral services for Effie will be Tuesday May 14, 2019 at 10 am at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Felty and Rev. Kenny Davis officiating, burial will be in the Scaffold Cane Cemetery.
