David was born on April 13, 1954 in Denison, TX to Glen & Lavell Winham Thomas. On December 19, 1999 he married Theresa Jean in Colbert, OK. He was an electrician and employed in construction. He was a christian and member of the Coleman Ave Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife; Theresa Jean Thomas of Colbert, OK, his mother; Lavell Thomas of Colbert, OK, his daughter; Charlene Thomas of San Diego, CA, two step-children; Susan Haugland of Denison, TX, Emily Wright of Ravenna, TX, two sisters; Teresa Layton & husband Harold of Prosper, TX, Judy Thomas of Colbert, two grandchildren; Joshua & Hanna, other relatives and many friends. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019, 10 a.m. at Coleman Ave Church of Christ, Colbert, OK with Brother Richard Gage officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Denison, TX. Family & friends visitation will be Wednesday, May 29, 2019, 6 – 8 p.m. at American Funeral Service, Colbert, OK. Pallbearers will be Matt Washer, Phillip Weger, Luke Gage, Buddy Clever, Harold Layton, Joshua Wright & Bud Jackson.
