William Edward Grecsek July 27 1967 February 15 2019 (age 51)

William Edward ‘Bill’ Grecsek, age 51, passed away February 15, 2019 in Asheville, North Carolina. Bill was born July 27, 1967 to Edward William Grecsek and Germaine Elizabeth Evans Sprieser. He was born in New York and lived on Long Island before moving to North Carolina. During his life Bill was a volunteer firefighter, an EMT, and a special needs care worker. He always loved learning and particularly enjoyed war history, gun history, building and knitting. Bill was a Christian who attended Middle Fork Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, dedicated father, a brother to all volunteer firefighters and a strong believer in the rights of Americans. Bill is preceded in death by both his parents, as well as two brothers; David Grecsek and Raymond Grecsek. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Holly Lord-Grecsek; brother Edward Grecsek of Allentown, PA; and daughters Zoe Grecsek of Mars Hill, NC and Ana Grecsek of Mars Hill, NC A service will be held at Middle Fork Baptist Church on February 24, 2019 at 3pm. Pastor Nelson Ponder will be officiating. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to local volunteer fire departments or diabetes associations.
