Valerie Ann Hoover Valerie Ann Hoover passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019. She was 45 years old and a resident of Hammond, LA. She was a hairdresser and a CNA at a local nursing home. Valerie is survived by her son, Jakob C. Hoover; parents, Huey and Susan Hoover; brother, Bradley Hoover; sister, Melissa Hoover; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, Hammond, on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until the Funeral Service at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Holly Gardens Cemetery.
