John Raymond Paul passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019 in Covington, LA. He was born on July 29, 1968 in Chandler, AZ to Robert Paul and Joellen Cortie Laborde. John was married to his beloved wife, Carole Cooper Paul, for 13 years. He was the loving step-father of Tammy Stiebing (Milton) and Tiffany Wall (Dwayne) and proud step-grandfather of Haley, Grant, and Laney Stiebing; Allison, Corey, and Lydia Wall; and Hannah and Rachel Fersch. He was the brother of James Pat Paul, Melissa Paul, Renee Willette, and Dominick LaBorde. Paul was the dear uncle of Tessa Paul. He was the grandson of Theresa Cortie. He will be especially missed by his beloved dog, Tracker. John was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he loved to play pool. He never met a stranger and was a great friend to all who knew him. Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at 2:00 PM with visitation from 12:00 Noon until service time.
