Greensboro NC: Gregory Beal Tatum, 59, of Greensboro NC passed away at Fisher Park Health & Rehab on Tuesday February 12, 2019. He was born to the late Gray Beal Tatum and Cleatus Kowon McAdoo Tatum in Greensboro NC on June 20, 1959 Gregory a true “Jokester” at heart, loved being around his family. When he wasn’t showing his love for music or cooking, you could find him sharing it with his grandkids, nieces, and nephews. His family will miss watching him at his favorite place, the beach, where he could spend hours playing in the sand with his grandchildren and watching the waves go by. Gregory a graduate of Culinary Arts School truly loved cooking. He was so proud of the position he held as lead cook at his most memorable and favorite place to work, B G Mc Gee’s Restaurant. He will be truly missed by family, friends, and all who knew him. Gregory is survived by his Wife: Velma Terry Tatum of Greensboro, Children: Takita Tatum of Greensboro, Gregory McIntre of Greensboro, William Knight of Greensboro, 7 Grandkids, 3 Great Great Grandchildren, Sisters: Cathelia Tatum of Greensboro, Deborah Tatum of Greensboro, and a host of Nieces and Nephews. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his Brother: Terry McAdoo. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday February 20, 2019 at Triad Cremation & Funeral Service Chapel of Greensboro NC.
