Edna Joy Coburn, 76, of Lonoke went to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 27, 2019. She was born August 23, 1942 in England, Arkansas to Shade and Stella Miller. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband, Jerry William (Bill) Coburn, step-son, John Coburn and nephew, Michael Dillon. Edna worked at Remington and was a member of Concord United Methodist Church. She was a good person who enjoyed taking care of her nephews and was known to be plain spoken. She is survived by her step-children, Jerry Coburn, Mary Maronay (Dennis), Pat White, Danny Coburn (Melanie) all of Stuttgart, Arkansas; nephew, Troy Dillon; great-niece, Treva Dillon; great-nephew, Ty Dillon; 13 step-grandchildren; 26 step-greatgrandchildren and 1 step-great-greatgrandchild. A very special thank you to the staff at Cabot Nursing and Rehabilitation and Arkansas Hospice for the excellent care they provided Edna. Visitation will be Friday, March 1, 2019 at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Boyd Funeral Home on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Concord Cemetery.
