OBITUARY Verna Mae Craver February 21, 1926 – December 30, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Verna Mae Craver (92) died in her sleep on December 30, 2018 in Falls Church, VA following a long illness. Born Verna Mae Wheatley on February 21, 1926, she was raised in Washington, DC. She lived most of her life in Falls Church, VA with her husband, Donald W. Craver, to whom she was married for 51 years and who preceded her in death in 2002. Her sister, Lois Dreslin, preceded her in death in 1989. She is survived by her four loving children, Donald W. Craver, Jr., John F. Craver (Donna Hoak), Brian W. Craver (Linda Hinnov) and Robert L. Craver; two grandchildren, Katherine Ball and Alexander Craver; and one great grandchild, Austin Ball. Another grandchild, Matthew Craver, preceded her in death in 2009. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Murphy Funeral Home, 1102 West Broad Street (Rt. 7), Falls Church, VA, 22046, followed by a grave site service at 2:00 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, 401 N.
