Norma Lee Riley 1925 2019

Obituary of Norma Riley Norma Lee Riley 93 of Fairmont passed away on January 30, 2019 at the Fairmont Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was a daughter of the late Clement Stanley and Iva Bailey Hixenbaugh. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Bert Ivan Riley Jr. who passed away in 2012. Norma was a graduate of Hundred High School and the West Virginia Business College. In the years following graduation, Norma was an employee of the Westinghouse Lamp Plant and the Fairmont Sears and Roebuck Co. where she was a service contract clerk for eleven years. She was a member of the Whitehall Church of Christ. She enjoyed camping, fishing and being in the outdoors. Norma is survived by her son Bert Alan Riley and his wife Joyce of Pleasant Valley, WV and her daughter Suellen Daniels and husband Steve of Cumming, GA. She is survived by five grandchildren: Jennifer McCollum and husband Christian, Michael Riley and fiancé Bridget Ford, Heather Baggett and husband Eric, Alisa Moloney and husband Robert, Nathan Daniels and wife Maegan. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren: Angie McCollum, Emma McCollum, Samantha Moloney, Sean Moloney and several nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sister Velma Rose Williams. Family and friends may call at the Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St. Fairmont, WV 26554, on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 4-8 PM and Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 11 AM-12 Noon. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 12:00 with the Evangelist Stan Jenkins officiating. A committal service will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover, WV. Condolences may be made to the family at www.fordfuneralhomes.com.
