John R. “Jack” Reinemeyer January 27, 2019 Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card John R. “Jack” Reinemeyer, age 80, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Kenton, OH and Delphos, OH, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019, following an extended illness. Jack was born in Delphos, Ohio, June 18, 1938 to the late Paul and Catherine Reinemeyer. He was a graduate of Delphos St. John’s High School and attended the University of Dayton. Jack was a CPA and owned an accounting firm in Ohio with his father and later accounting and payroll services in Bradenton, FL. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Jack was a private pilot who also enjoyed building and flying model airplanes. He was a founding member of the Sarasota Silent Flyers. He also enjoyed boating, telling jokes and spending time with his family and friends. Jack is survived by his wife of 39 years, Susan; five children, Fred (Darla) Reinemeyer of Dublin, OH, Rita (Nathan) Thatcher of Lakeview, OH, Mary Wormley of Kenton, OH, Todd (Beth) Trent and Shawn (Valerie) Trent of Bradenton, FL; grandchildren, Renee (Justin) Metzger of Huntsville, OH, Eric (Erica) Thatcher of Radford, VA, Sarah Thatcher of Lakeview, OH, Troy Reinemeyer of Cincinnati, OH, Kelly Reinemeyer of Hilliard, OH, Ashley (Scot) Gammon of Kenton, OH, Kristen Wormley of Columbus, OH, Josh Wormley of Kenton, OH, Taylor, Nicholas, Peyton and Samantha Trent of Bradenton, FL; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Haley and Laura Metzger, Braden and Lillian Thatcher and Marlee, Kyndal, Carter and Harper Gammon. Also surviving are three sisters, Ann Lewis of Mayfield Hts., OH, Ruth Staup and Jean Burke of Dayton, OH and nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his sister, Betty. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7PM on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 26th St. Chapel, 5624 26th St. W., Bradenton, FL 34207. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10AM on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3100 26th St W, Bradenton, FL 34205.
