Obituary for Ira T. Palach IRA T. PALACH, age of Harbor Beach, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Lakeview Extended Care and Rehab Center of the Harbor Beach Community Hospital. He was born on October 11, 1926 in Parisville to the late Theodore and Rose (Nowiski) Palach. He and Elsie Lemanski were united in marriage on October 22, 1949 in Parisville. She preceded him in death on January 9, 2017. Ira was a former employee of Hercules Manufacturing. He was a member of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church. Ira was a handyman, and Mr. Fix it for a lot of people. He sailed the great lakes, he did the maintenance for the Harbor House, and was foreman of Spinex in Bad Axe. Ira is survived by his children: Craig (Sheila) Palach of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, Gail (Dennis) Burkhard of Harbor Beach, Dennis (Sue) Palach of Harbor Beach, Colleen (Rob) Stalker of Harbor Beach, Becky (Brian) Lasceski of Harbor Beach, grandchildren: Michael Palach of Fergus Falls, MN, Eric Palach of Wahpeton, ND, Krista Sem of Fergus Falls, MN, Angela (Chad) Brown of Fergus Falls, MN, Melissa (Reed) Elliott of Las Cruces, NM, Christina (Christopher) Swenor of Boston, MA, Amanda Burkhard of Canton, David Palach of Harbor Beach, Gary Palach of Harbor Beach, Chelsea Lasceski of Harbor Beach, Justin Lasceski of Saginaw, Ryan Stalker of Harbor Beach, 11 great grandchildren, sisters: Grace Koss of Harbor Beach, Bernice (Fred) Koglin of Port Hope, Patricia Midyett of Freemont. Funeral mass for Ira will be Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 1 pm at the Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, of the Holy Name of Mary Parish, with Fr. George Amos officiating. Burial will follow in the OLLH Church Cemetery. Visitation for Ira will be at the church, Saturday, beginning at 11 am until time of services at 1pm.
