Georie Sue Rose Westlake, 24, of New Cumberland had been battling the demons of addiction. She lost her fight on Thursday, January 24, 2019. Georie came from a very close-knit family, those whose lives have been changed forever is her mom, Julie Meredith Cooper and her husband Jeremy; her dad, Scott Farley; her soulmate, David Wright; her grandmother, Debbie Belisle; her grandfather, Roger Meredith; her great-grandmother, Geneva Meredith; her siblings, Kaysha Knox, Zaeda Westlake, Tyler Fullmer, Collin Cooper, and Stephen Cooper; and a special niece, Gracie Dawn Rose. She was born on August 14, 1994, in Weirton and called this area home all her life. Georie had a warm and compassionate soul, which fit in well with her job as a certified nurse’s aide, “she loved taking care of all of her old people”. She was a graduate of Oak Glen High School. Friends are invited to join Georie’s family as they celebrate her life at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Thursday, January 31 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Pastor Mike Direnzo will conduct a memorial service following the memorial visitation, at 4:00 p.m.
