OBITUARY Ernest Charles Kriz March 12, 1926 – January 6, 2019 Ernest C. Kriz, age 92 of Lincoln, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019. He was born March 12, 1926 to Ernest A. and Rose (Benes) Kriz at Brainard, NE. Survivors include his wife, Deloris A. Kriz of Lincoln; son, Tim Kinney of Lincoln; daughter, Sandra (Jerry) Genrich of Lincoln; son, Michael (Sandra) Kinney of Clatonia, NE; son, Randy Kriz of Council Bluffs, IA; son, Kevin (Debra) Kinney of Lincoln; daughter, Sharon (Joe) Claussen of Lincoln and son, Jeffrey Kriz of Lincoln; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a brother, Claire “Bud” (Jan) Kriz and a sister, Alma (Arthur) Svoboda. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Adeline Kriz in 1964 and a sister, Irene Masek. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 10:30 AM at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church (7601 Vine Street) in Lincoln. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday at 10:00 AM also at the church. Inurnment will be at Lincoln Memorial Park at 1:30 PM. Memorials have been suggested to St. John the Apostle Catholic Church.
