Obituary of Daniel Harris Mr. Daniel Ray Harris, age 71 a resident of Polk City passed away Monday, December 24, 2018 at Good Shepherd Hospice Lakeland with his family by his side. Mr. Harris was born August 24, 1947 in Charleston, West Virginia to Carl Russell and Mildred Kathryn (Cobb) Harris. He was a resident of Polk City since 1973 coming from West Virginia. Danny was a welder for the City of Auburndale. He enjoyed building, fixing and racing cars and loved NASCAR. He was preceded in death by his parents. Danny is survived by his loving family; Wife of 54 yrs.: Marjorie Harris of Polk City, FL. Daughter: Danielle (Mike) Stokes of Knoxville, TN. Son: Daniel Ray (Carla) Harris, II of Polk City, FL., Brother: Ricky (Diane) Harris of Clendenin, W.VA., Sister Debbie (Rick) Duggan of Crossville, TN., 4 Grandchildren: Ryan, Whittney, Jarrod & Jordan and 4 Gt.
