Ashwinkumar Jethalal Shah May 23 1941 – January 23 2019

Obituary for Ashwinkumar Jethalal Shah Ashwinkumar Jethalal Shah was born in Baroda, India on May 23, 1941. He married Nayna Parikh on August 22, 1966 in Mumbai. He is survived by his three children and their spouses: Sangeeta and Mayur, Jignesh and Neha, and Hetal and Shweta. He is also a proud grandfather of five grandchildren: Jinkle, Sachi, Darshi, Sahaj and Jeet. He worked for Baroda Municipal Corporation as a Senior Supervisor for over 28 years and also ran a group of businesses called World Corporation. In the early part of his life, he lived in Baroda, India, with his parents, Jethalal and Girjaben, his brother Haresh, and his sister Sukanya. In 1990, Ashwinkumar retired early and sacrificed his well settled life with his friends and family, including his oldest brother, Navinbhai, to immigrate to the United States. Through the help of his brother, Mukundbhai, he created a new and prosperous life for his family. During his leisure times, he enjoyed listening to old Bollywood songs and watching Hollywood action movies. He loved to play cards and tell stories to all his grandchildren. He was also always ready to play with his cherished dog, Zoey. He was a real Bokha who enjoyed all types of food and made friends with everyone he met. He now joins his sisters, Dhanuben and Sukanya and brother, Mukundbhai. He leaves behind a legacy of happiness and prosperity.
