Sandra Blakley Barnes, 62, of Waynesburg, KY passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Ft. Logan Hospital in Stanford, KY. Born January 30, 1956 to the late John and Kathleen Smith Blakley. Sandra worked on the farm for most of her life and loved to garden, fish, and going to yard sales. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Raymond Barnes of Waynesburg, KY; two sons, Billy Barnes (Vickie) of Harrodsburg, KY and Raymond Barnes, Jr. of Eubank, KY; one daughter, Cathy Barnes of Somerset, KY; two brothers, James Blakley and Andrew Blakley; six sisters, Ann Blakley, Joyce Blakley, Margaret Pope, Dolly Mills, Elaine Russell and Rosemary Napier; thirteen grandchildren, Nicole, Raelyn, Jada, Anthony, Andrew, Thomas, Katie, Sierra, Brandy, Haley, Taylor, Jennifer and Austin; four great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Jeran, Jesslyn and Jensen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Blakley. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 10-1 p.m. at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Funeral will be Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY with Rev. Ray Napier and Rev. Joe Smith officiating the service. Burial will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens in Danville, KY. Pallbearers are Joe Liles, Jesse Leyton, Timothy Blakley, Adam Harmon and Andrew Mills.
