Roy Lynn Burningham, 64, passed away unexpectedly December 3, 2018 at his home in Roy. He was born April 26, 1954 in Salt Lake City, UT. The son of R. Lee and Mary Ann (Ratcliffe) Burningham. Roy graduated from Bountiful High School, class of 1972. He spent the majority of his career working at the oil refinery, but he always was a small business owner at heart. Some of the small businesses he ran over the years included asphalt, property management, farming and lawn care. After he retired, he loved to spend his time chasing the stock market! Roy was known for his kind heart to all. He never said an unkind word to or about anyone. He loved to quietly serve and see others happy. Surviving Roy are his mother Mary Ann; his four children Troy (Shali), Amy (Brandon Ousley), Cory, and Judd (Melissa) Burningham; 9 grandchildren, and his five brothers, Rick, Ron, Rod, Ross and Reed Burningham. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the Bountiful 34th Ward Building, 540 North 1200 East, Bountiful. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful and Tuesday 9:45 to 10:45 am at the church prior to the services.
