David Coppage November 6 1937 December 20 2018 (age 81)

David Burton Coppage, 81, of Jamestown, KY passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Lake Cumberland Regional Medical Center in Somerset, KY. Born November 6, 1937 in Bradfordsville, KY to the late Leslie Curtis Coppage and Fannie Marie Smith Coppage, he was a former co-owner and operator of the Stanford Cree Mee in Stanford, KY. Survivors include one son, David Bruce Coppage, Sr. (Connie) of Stanford, KY; one brother, Shelby Coppage; three sisters, Lois Coleman, Linda Pennington, and Judy Helm; five grandchildren, Stephanie Acree, Heather Parker, Bruce Coppage, Jr., Brandon Coppage, and Tim Coppage; four great-grandchildren, Isaiah Parker, Jedidiah Newcom, Ricky Coppage, and Dustin Coppage; one great-great grandchildren, Nevaeh Parker; and a special friend, David Bunch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Lynn Coppage; a daughter, Lisa Ann Robertson; one brother, Leonard Coppage; and a sister, Freda Gastineau. A one day service has been scheduled for Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, Stanford. Visitation will be from 10am-1pm with funeral service beginning at 1pm with Jason Coulter officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford.
