Agnes Papszycki 1927 2018

Obituary of Agnes Papszycki Boonville – Agnes M. Papszycki, 91, of the East Road, passed away in the comfort of her home on November 29, 2018. Agnes was born on May 25, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY a daughter of Spencer and Elvira Valentine Soper. Following her education she worked as a secretary in the Brooklyn Naval Yard, and for a time as a bank teller for Williamsburg Savings Bank, Brooklyn. Agnes was united in marriage with Henry Albert Papszycki in 1956. Following their marriage the couple settled in the Bergen Beach section of Brooklyn. They moved to Lindenhurst, Long Island in 1972, where Agnes lived until moving to Boonville in 2004. Mr. Papszycki, a signal maintenance foreman for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority of New York City passed away in 1974. Agnes enjoyed bowling, and the time she spent with her dogs and horses. She is survived by her three sons: Alan Papszycki, Boonville, Spencer (Susan) Papszycki, Deer Park, L.I., Thomas (Kathy) Papszycki, East Islip, L.I., her grandchildren: Linda, Kyley, Brittany, Tyler, Chase, Christopher, Brian, Amber, Brooke, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Henry, Agnes was predeceased by her brothers Walter and Spencer Soper. In keeping with her wishes all services will be held privately. Interment next to her husband will be in Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY. Arrangements are in care of the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, NY.
