MABLE M. WRIGHT Mable M. Wright, 97, of Piqua died at 7:40 am Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Heartland of Piqua Nursing Facility. She was born February 25, 1921 in Fletcher to the late Jesse and Mary (Ralston) Burnside. She married Lloyd E. Wright April 26, 1941 in Troy and he preceded her in death January 25, 1962. Survivors include two grandchildren, Tom (Jennifer) Kiser of Piqua, Chris (Lauren) Kiser of Troy; four great-grandchildren, Mitchell Kiser, Kenton Kiser, Kristen Kiser, Dylan Kiser; two step great-grandchildren, Lindsey Daniels, Mike Daniels; and five great-great-grandchildren, Zander, Kayzlee, Ellie, Aiden and Alec. She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Burnside, and her daughter, Jean E. Kiser September 17, 2011. Mrs. Wright was a 1939 graduate of Brown Township High School. She went on to work as a seamstress for the Atlas Underwear Company before retiring in 1983. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and was active in many of the Church programs. She was a member of the Piqua Leisure Club and enjoyed gardening, flowers, bird watching, a good cup of coffee and a long walk. She loved her family and cherished the time she was able to spend with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A service to honor her life will begin at 12 pm Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Fletcher Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10-12 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church’s God’s Table program 325 W. Ash St. Piqua, OH 45356.
