Winton R Cooke II 2018

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Saturday at the Lane Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel for Winton R. Cooke II, 70, of Berlin Center who passed away early Sunday morning, November 25 at St. Elizabeth/ Mercy Health Boardman Campus. Winton, more commonly known as Cookie, was born September 14,1948 in Alliance, Ohio the son of Clara E. Horton. He retired in 2010 from Delphi Packard Electric after more than 34 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, playing pool and was an avid wood worker. Cookie was a social member of the VFW. His first wife, Phyllis Renea Lowther, whom he married June 8, 1968 passed away October 17, 2004. Cookie leaves his second wife the former Paulette Scarsella, whom he married September 22, 2007. Cookie also leaves his four children, Launa (Ron) Martin of Berlin Center, Phil Cooke of Toronto, OH, Kristen (Troy) Rock of Jasper, IN, and Matthew (Jenna) Cooke of Poolesville, MD, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren and one sister Mary McGuire of Alliance. Cookie also leaves five step-children and 13 step grandchildren. Besides his mother and his first wife Renea, Cookie was preceded in death by a brother Don and two sisters, Pat, and Clara Marie. Friends may call from 4 to 7 PM Friday and again from noon to 1 PM on Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel where services will begin at 1 PM.
