Mary Burnice Fowler 83, beloved mother of John, Connie and Chris Fowler, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 in Gilbert, Arizona. Mary was born in Marion, Kentucky on August 18, 1934. She worked for the Evansville Housing Authority and touched lives through her volunteer work with the Vanderburgh Humane Society and Arizona food banks. Fowler of Evansville, IN; daughter, Connie B. Fowler of Gilbert, AZ; son-in-law, Christopher Pinion-Fowler; and grandchildren, Stephanie Fowler, Sharona Fowler and Serena Fowler. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence C. Fowler in 2016; her parents John York and Nannie (Koon) York; and step-son, Michael Fowler. A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at 6:00 PM followed by an Eastern Star service at 6:30 PM on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711.
