Beulah Fannin Taylor, 93, of Portsmouth, passed away Wednesday, Oct.3, 2018 at Crystal Care of Portsmouth. She was born in New Boston July 14, 1925, a daughter of the late Andrew “Jack” and Effie Fannin Fannin. Beulah had been employed as a clerk at the former Empire-Detroit Steel Corp., was a graduate of Glenwood High School and had attended the Central Church of Christ. Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Augustus Taylor, whom she married in Sciotoville on Mar. 5, 1984; her son, Michael Steven Taylor and two sisters, Dolores Atkins and Esther Schneider. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Janet Taylor of Portsmouth; two granddaughters, Melody Edwards and Tiffany Justice; one grandson, Steven Taylor; a great-niece, Renee Adams and seven great – grandchildren. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the RALPH F. SCOTT FUNERAL HOME in Portsmouth.
