Funeral services for Wilma DeBorde, age 76, of Buffalo, Texas, will be held 10 A.M., Friday, September 28, 2018 at the Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home in Buffalo. Wilma’s son-in-law, Pastor Phil Smith, will officiate the service. Interment will be in the Boykin Chapel Cemetery in the Flo Community of Leon County, Texas. Wilma Louise DeBorde was born May 28, 1942 in Pittsburg, Texas to… Read More » William & Julia (Harrison) Bynum. She grew up in Pittsburg and had lived the past thirty-eight years in Buffalo. Wilma had worked as a bookkeeper and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Buffalo. She passed away September 24, 2018 at her home in Buffalo following a prolonged illness. Wilma was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Lloyd DeBorde, Sr.; son, John Paul Mouncey; twin brother, Willie Bynum and brother, Robert Bynum. Wilma is survived by two daughters, Michelle Smith (Phil) of Buffalo and Debbie Coates (Mark) of Oakwood; step-sons, Harold DeBorde of Buffalo; Bill DeBorde (Trudy) of Franklin & J.R. DeBorde (Jo Ann) of DeRidder, LA and step-daughters, Ruby Stevens (Kim) of Elkhart & Judy DeBorde of Lindale. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home in Buffalo, Texas is entrusted with arrangements.
