OBITUARY Wanza Darlene Martin Passed away on September 29, 2018 Wanza Darlene Martin, 84, of Knoxville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday September 29, 2018. Wanza was a member of Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church, chairman of Christian Women’s Club and guest speaker across the United States. She was the chairman of Questers Preservation Club and a member of Knoxville Herb and Garden Club. Wanza was a business owner of Dove Antiques and Pace Setter Arts and a model at Millers Department Store. She was an avid world traveler, who also enjoyed gardening and antique collecting. She was known as a prayer warrior with a passion for Christ and her family and for bringing others to a saving knowledge of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Hazel Wisner; and loving husband of 53 years, Charles Thomas Martin. Wanza is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles Perry and Kimberly Martin; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy Darlene and Joseph Rocky DaCosta; 3 grandchildren, Brett (Amber) DaCosta, Kate (Brandon) Hall and Sara (Zach) Fuller ; 4 great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Finley, Parker and Lane; sister and brother-in-law Janice and Scott Crawford; nephew, Josh Reeves and niece Amy (Gordon) Tillet. There will be a Celebration of Wanza’s Life Sunday September 30, 2018 at Berry Highland West Funeral Home on Sherrill Blvd from 2-4 p.m. Donations can be made to DL Moody at 1-800-356-6639 or at www.moodybible.org.
