Obituary for Virginia Conyers Virginia was known by some as Jenny and was born to Marvis and Loretta Conyers. She had one sibling, Johnny Conyers. She is survived by her only daughter, Katherine Conyers (31) and three beautiful grandchildren, Hannah (11), Riley (8) and Kaelyn (6). She was a teacher for Shelby County Schools for 30 years and retired in 2015 from Kate Bond Elementary School where she met many wonderful people and became close with her teammates there. Virginia was only 61 at the time of her death. Virginia touched the lives and hearts of everyone she met. Her big heart and sense of humor made her easy to love. She was a very giving and selfless woman. She would often touch the lives of her students by ensuring they were educated in the best way possible. When she wasn’t teaching she would be at home with her daughter and grandchildren. She was amazing at everything as she cooked, drew, painted, sew and often would bake amazing cakes for her grandchildren’s birthdays. There are very few people that one meets in this life that are like Virginia. She will be greatly missed by many. Rest in peace Virginia. Order Flowers Virginia A.
