Vincent J. Keegan, 80, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Patrick J. and Bridget A. (Gaffney) Keegan. Vincent was a US Army veteran. He worked for the US Postal Service for many years before retiring. Vincent was a devoted communicant of St. Timothy Church. He was also an avid painter. He was the brother of Anna M. Asprinio and her husband, Dr. Edward F., Thomas C. Keegan and his wife, B. Eileen, and the late Joseph P. Keegan and Bernard F. Keegan; uncle of Dr. David Asprinio, Dr. Jane O’Brien, Mark Asprinio, Steven Asprinio, Esq., Karen Tobin, Esq., and Christopher Keegan. His funeral will be held Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 11 AM in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM in St. Timothy Church, Warwick Ave. Burial with military honors will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours Thursday from 9:30-10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Timothy Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, RI 02889, will be appreciated
