Obituary for Velma Lucille Burroughs Mrs. Velma Lucille Burroughs, 87, wife of the late Oren Lester Burroughs, entered into rest on Friday, August 31, 2018, at the Doctors Hospital of Augusta. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 1, 2018 in the Harlem Memorial Cemetery with the Reverend Polly Davis officiating. Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Sanford (Charles); her son Doug Burroughs (Donald Paul); one grandson, Jason Sanford (Chasidy); Great-grandson, Caleb Sanford; Stephanie Archer (James) and children, Michael Harper, Emily Harper and Connor Archer.
