Obituary for Theresa Lafond Theresa Ann Lafond, age 75, of West Haven, beloved wife to the late Henry A. Lafond, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 14, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Huntington, CT on August 15, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Valentine (Abramsczyk) Cowell. Theresa was an independent entrepreneur of Terri’s Luncheonette for many years and a loving matriarch of her large family. Theresa is survived by her children, Michael (Kimberly) Lafond of Mebane, NC, Kenneth (Barbara) Lafond of North Haven, Keith (Amy) Lafond of Trumbull, grandchildren, Robert, Virginia, Christian, Dominique, Alexis, Jake, Noah, Ryan, great granddaughter, Annabelle, step-grandchildren, Benjamin, Christopher (Jenn), Hunter, Theodore, and her brothers Edward Cowell and Paul (Pat) Cowell. She was predeceased by her brothers Walter and Peter Cowell. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home Thursday at 9:30 am for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in Saint Paul’s Church at 10 am. Interment will follow in the State Veteran’s Cemetery, Middletown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association at www.lung.org.
