Obituary for Sharon Virginia Coombs Sharon Virginia Coombs, age 72 of Indian Head, Maryland, died August 23, 2018 at the Charles County Hospice House in Waldorf, Maryland. Sharon was an office manager for 25 plus years with King Adkins Insurance in La Plata. She was a member of both St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Indian Head, Maryland and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Pomfret, Maryland. She enjoyed doing ceramics and trips to Florida. She was a past volunteer with Charles County Hospice. She most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was known as a care taker to all. She was predeceased by her sister, Linda Wood. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ronald L. Coombs; her sons, Ronald L. Coombs, Jr. (Sandra) and Todd F. Coombs; and her grandchildren, Jack, Josh, and Summer. Friends received on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM with Wake Service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 11AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 4590 St. Joseph Way, Pomfret, Maryland 20675, officiated by Fr. Robert Golas.
