OBITUARY Selma A Yesner September 12, 1924 – September 18, 2018 Selma A. Yesner, age, 94, died on September 18, 2018 in Marietta, GA. She was born in Queens, NY but spent most of her life with her husband of 69 years (Leonard “Bud” Yesner) in Miami, FL. She began her career as a stenographer before devoting her life to raising her three successful children in Florida with whom she was a constant source of support and love. She enjoyed traveling abroad with her husband, painting and singing, and was very active in her local communities. Mrs. Yesner is survived by her sons, Jack and Glenn Yesner; her daughters-in-law, Sharyn and Debra Yesner; her son-in-law, David Berkowitz; her six grandchildren, Shawn Yesner, Brynn Wallace, Meryl Ruiz, Matthew, Rachel, and Justin Yesner; and her three great-grand-children, Kyndal Wallace, Tyler and Jacob Yesner. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rita Berkowitz and husband, Leonard Yesner, of blessed memory. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association (Heart.org) or B’nai B’rith Youth Organization (BBYO.org). Funeral services were held Friday, September 21, 2018 in Atlanta. Interment Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 2:30 pm at Mount Nebo Kendall Memorial Gardens, Miami, FL.
