OBITUARY Rosemary Glass May 4, 1928 – August 30, 2018 Rosemary T. Glass, 90, of Indianapolis, departed this life peacefully August 30, 2018. She was born May 4, 1928 in Tipton, IN to the late Joseph B. and Isabell U. (Brady) Mattingly. She is also preceded in death by her husband, George F. Glass; brother, John B. Mattingly; and sister, Miriam Ann Mattingly. Rosemary attended St. Joseph Academy in Tipton and received her Bachelor Degree and Master of Social Work from Indiana University. She worked with Catholic Charities in adoption placement before continuing her career as a social worker with Indianapolis Public Schools. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and was active as a volunteer and social activist. Rosemary dearly enjoyed her family, especially her grand and great grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Fred Glass (Barbara); brother, Daniel J. Mattingly; grandchildren, Katie Askey (Tom), Joe Glass (Emily), Connor Glass, and George Glass; great grandchildren, Betsy Askey, Ellie Askey, Anna Rose Askey, and Lucy Glass; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Monday, September 3 at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 E. 71st St. and 9:00 am to 10:00 am Tuesday, September 4 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church 46th and Illinois. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Tuesday, September 4 at the church with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
