OBITUARY Rosemarie Theresa Koska December 25, 1950 – August 31, 2018 Rosemarie T. Koska, age 67, of New Bedford, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Stanley and Helen (Manning) Koska, she was a lifelong resident of the city. A graduate of Bishop Stang High School, she went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Education from Bridgewater State College. She worked as a kindergarten teacher at the Parker Elementary School and Carney Academy for twenty years. Rosemarie enjoyed going to the Chapel in downtown New Bedford, shopping, going out to eat, buying presents and cards for others, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her siblings, Timothy J. Koska and his companion Paula Cohen of Acushnet, Stanley “Sam” P. Koska, Jr. and his wife Claudia, Annbeth Koska, David A. Koska, James J. “Jim” Koska and his wife Kelly, all of New Bedford; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John S. Koska.
