Ronald Anthony Heath, 62, of Kinston passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018 at his home. Ronald worked with Waters Industrial for many years as a welder until he retired. He was a great handy man and would help anyone who was in need. He lived to serve others. He truly valued quality time spent with his loved ones. He lived, he laughed, and most of all he loved. He worked smart and hard and pushed his self to keep going. He was known by many as “Uncle Ron” and he will be missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Bessie Heath; 5 brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Long Heath; daughter, Jennifer Sue Moody and husband Christopher of Duluth, GA; sons, Matthew Heath of Burgaw and Jonathan Stanley Heath of Kinston; grandchildren, Lilia Dugay Heath, Chase Alexander Heath and Anthony Zale Moody; sisters, Bonnie Miller of VA and Carlena Braxton of LaGrange; brother, Jimmy Heath of Trenton and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at GroundBreakers Ministries. Funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jesus Sanchez officiating. Burial will be held at Deaver Family Cemetery in Deep Run following the funeral service.
