Roger Balsam Bridgewater, NJ Roger Balsam, 75, of Bridgewater, NJ passed away peacefully on August 9, 2018 at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. He was surrounded by his loving family. Born in New York City, he lived in Aberdeen, NJ for 15 years before moving to Bridgewater, NJ 19 years ago. Mr. Balsam worked for Genworth as an Insurance Sales Representative for 15 years before retiring in 2016. Roger and Judy both volunteered for Brandywine Assisted living in Bridgewater and a Cancer organization called Stomp the Monster. He was an avid golfer and an N.Y. Mets fan. Roger enjoyed traveling throughout the country, loved riding bikes but most importantly spending quality time with his grandchildren and family. He is preceded in death by his loving parents Florence and Davis Balsam. Surviving are his loving long-term companion of 29 years Judy Kopp, two dear sons, Deven Balsam of Waynesville, NC; and Adam and wife Julia Balsam of Dusseldorf, Germany; two loving daughters, Meredith and husband Andrew Reinsdorf of Alexandria, VA; and Dana and husband Craig Hudon of Bloomfield, NJ, and seven cherished grandchildren. Arrangements are under the direction of the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876.
