Obituary of Reta Monahan Reta Monahan of Newburgh, NY passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018. She was 99 years old. Reta was born in Hartford, CT on July 31, 1919. She was the daughter of the late John Doering and Emma Canfield. She married Edward Monahan who predeceased her on July 23, 1989. Survivors include her daughter Barbara Jacobs of Wellington Florida, her brother in law Robert Thurston of Newburgh and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 11am at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Mountainville, NY.
