Obituary of Paula Brodzinski Paula Brodzinski aged 64, of Fairfield, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2018 in Bridgeport Hospital after a courageous seven month battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She had a great passion for cooking, travel and animals and was very active in her church and faith. She was a graduate of the University of New Mexico and was most recently a successful Independent Insurance Agent for senior citizens and disabled. Also, she was a member of the Moose Lodge in Stratford. She was deeply admired for her dedication to help people from all walks of life. Surviving Paula are her three siblings and their families; Donna Baierlein and her late husband Billy and nephew Joey, of Milford, PA, her brother Paul Brodzinski and wife Anne Marie, niece Samantha and nephew Paulie, all of NY, and sister Debbie Brodzinski and her partner Craig of NY. She is also survived by her stepmother Irene Brodzinski, of Sparta, NJ; and many dear friends. Paula was the daughter of the late Olga Chydillo Brodzinski and the late Sigmund Brodzinski. She was preceded in death by her beloved uncle, John Chydillo who was a second father to her after her father’s passing. Calling hours will be on Saturday September 29 from 9 to 1030 AM in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield, followed by a funeral service at First Presbyterian Church 2475 Easton Turnpike, Fairfield at 11:30 AM. A private burial will be held on Monday in Mount Olivet Cemetery, in New York.
