Paul Francis Boyer, 87, of Seymour, TN passed away Friday, September 21. He was born April 28, 1931 in Pottsville, PA to Harry and Loretta Boyer. Paul was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed travel, photography, deer hunting, woodworking, and model trains. He was an Air Force and Korean War Veteran whose missions provided R&R for UN troops, transported supplies and North Korean prisoners back home. He retired as Department Head of Numerical Control Engineering, Y-12 National Security… Read More » Complex after 37 years and was a former Chairman of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. He was a Penn State graduate, a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Tri-County Lions Club, Seymour Friends of the Library Board, and Blount County Sheriff’s Office Senior Outreach Program. He is predeceased by his parents, 3 half brothers, wives Ramona Davis and Betty Luckenbill and survived by daughter Lisa Weaver (Mike), sister Patricia Kutch (John), four nieces, three nephews and two step-children. Receiving of friends will be at Holy Family Catholic Church, Seymour, TN, at 10:30 am on Saturday, September 29, followed by Mass at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church or Seymour Branch Library Expansion Fund, www.sevierlibrary.org. Arrangements by Atchley Funeral Home Seymour.
