Obituary for Paul Edward Turley Sr. Paul Edward Turley passed away Wednesday morning, September 19, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sharon; his two sons, Paul Turley II and Stephen Turley; his daughter-in-law, Nicole Turley; and his beloved grandson, Benjamin Matthew Turley along with numerous other family members and friends. Paul was a devoted family man beginning with his 6 siblings, Alan, Louise, June, Mary Evelyn, Sue and Joe, whom he maintained close ties with all his life. He served four years in the Air Force, then spent over three decades as a tradesman at Corning Glassware, retiring in the early 90’s. When the quiet life of retirement didn’t suit him, he started a second career with Harran Aircraft at Davis Field working as a jack of all trades. He then turned his love of cars into a third career driving all over the country for local dealerships. Some of his favorite daily activities were meeting friends for coffee and breakfast over the years and more recently taking his grandson, Ben to school every morning. He loved to travel, taking Mountain retreats with Sharon, annual fishing trips to the San Juan River in NM with his boys, and visiting Disneyworld many times with Ben. He loved electronics and technology, tinkering with computers so much he became proficient enough to fix them for friends and family. After raising two sons that he adored, Paul Edward spent the last 10 years of his life cherishing his role as a grandfather. Spending time with Ben and watching him grow gave him renewed spirit and kept him vibrant. Funeral services celebrating Paul’s life will be 2PM, Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel. A private family interment will be at a later date.
