Pamela Scragg Bird, 69, of Charleston went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 30, 2018 at the Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington, KY after a short but unexpected illness. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Margie Songer Scragg and her daughter, Michelle Dawn Bird Tyler. She loved watching WVU play football and the Reds play baseball. Left to cherish her memory is her son Aaron Edward Bird; grandsons, Austin Tyler Bird, Andrew William Bird and Christopher Michael Hill, Jr., (CJ); sister, Diana Ellen Buzzard and husband Dave and a host of family and friends who are also left to mourn her passing. In Lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to your favorite church of charity. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday September 4, 2018 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services, also on Tuesday.
