Funeral for Norma Jean Hallman, 79, of Moulton will be Sunday, September 2, 2018, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Pinky Tyler and Rev. Marcus Lipscomb officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Hallman, who died Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Huntsville Hospital, was born May 17, 1939, to James Roland Bates and Mildred Inez Stover Bates. She was a member of New Freedom Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Kenneth Bates and Jerome Bates. Survivors include: Husband – Charles Hallman 2 daughters – Brenda (Eddie) Coker and Janice (Pinky) Tyler Brother – Bobby Wayne (Jo) Bates Sister-in-law – Patricia Bates 6 grandchildren 12 great grandchildren Pallbearers will be Jarred Coker, Terry Coker, Brian Fuller, Martin Carraway, Tyler Gillespie and Greg Hall.
