OBITUARY Melvin “Dennis” Dennis Curran October 1, 1951 – September 2, 2018 Melvin Dennis Curran October 1, 1951 – September 2, 2018 Melvin Dennis Curran, age 66, of Bothell, Washington died on September 2, 2018. Dennis was born in Vancouver, B.C. and raised in the Spokane area. He became a U.S. citizen in 1963 when his mother was naturalized. He attended Joel E. Ferris High School class of 1969 and continued his education at Old Dominion University in Virginia. Dennis decided to take a year off and spent his days thinking and reading in the small village of Luray outside Paris, France. Returning to the states he completed his degree in Communications at the University of Washington. Dennis was a long time employee at Boeing and retired early in 2011 and he continued using his skills in video-tography as a contractor. He loved collecting guns, photography, studying history and enjoyed the outdoors. He will be greatly missed by his his sister’s Pamela and Susan and brother William, sons Sean Curran and Aaron Witt, two grandsons and many friends that knew him as “Curley”. The family will hold a graveside service at Kirkland City Cemetery on Friday August 14, 2018, 11:30 a.m. Following the service the family will greet friends at a “Potluck Gathering” at William Martenson’s home in Edmonds, Washington.
