Obituary for Marjorie Adams (Brown) Marjorie Lee Adams, 83 of Pikeville passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the Parkview Nursing Home. She was born September 3, 1935 in Savannah, TN to the late Charley & Dewey (Burroughs) Brown. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charley Adams. Marjorie is survived by her loving children, four daughters; Delphia M. Justice, her husband Kermit of Pikeville, Marjorie Ann Ray of TN, Leona Dailey & her husband Brian of NC, & Phyllis Adams of TN, five sons; Charley Stanfield his wife Joann of Pikeville, Manuel Adams of Shelbiana, Randy Adams, his wife Rhonda of TN, James Adams of TN & Jeffrey Adams of MI, one sister, Linda Osment of TX, twenty one grandchildren & 32 great-grandchildren. A loving mother, grandmother & great-grandmother. Marjorie will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family will accept friends at the Thacker Memorial Chapel Tuesday at 6PM with services at 7PM with Richard Meek officiating. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. Burial to follow at the Annie E. Young Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home of Pikeville, KY.
